Online clubhouse and gazebo rentals
We're pleased to unveil a new rental process this year that makes renting easier for you and the association:
online rental request forms - up to 1 week faster turnaround vs. sending in a paper form and checks
up-front checks eliminated - we'll bill you for rental fees, and bill you again later only if needed to cover unexpected repairs and cleaning or rule violations
(for the clubhouse) your existing keycard (or mobile phone if you have it setup) gets you inside - we'll update your keycard/mobile access to grant access during your rental period (obtain a new or replacement keycard/mobile phone access here)

Jackson Oaks homeowners may reserve the following:
clubhouse (year-round)
gazebo (when the pool is open)
The playground is available to all Jackson Oaks homeowners when grounds are open and is not rentable or reservable.
Costs
The association charges a $100 fee to cover the costs to the association for consumables and utilities for private events.
Youth discount events with prior approval: $37.50
Volunteer-led events open to the entire association are free to all (upon approval by the JOA Board)

The clubhouse is available for rent on a first-come, first-served basis year-round. Full day private events have exclusive access from 7 a.m. to midnight, whereas youth group and volunteer-led association events are generally granted shorter durations, particularly recurring events. Rentals include clubhouse and attached wooden deck usage only; no pool, playground, or other grounds access is permitted.
Important: you must clean up fully during your allotted rental time.

Rental hours and capacity are limited to 6:00 p.m. to midnight and at most 30 attendees during periods when pool usage is historically highest to ensure adequate parking for other recreation center users. Renters may enter the clubhouse to set up for these events prior to 6:00 p.m., but guests may not arrive in numbers until then (1 or 2 vehicles at most prior to 6:00 p.m.).
Memorial Day weekend: includes Memorial Day and the Saturday and Sunday that precede it
Fourth of July: If July 4 falls on Wednesday or Thursday, includes the day before and after; otherwise, includes the closest weekend and any days in between
Labor Day weekend: includes Labor Day and the Saturday, and Sunday that precede it
For 2023, these time and capacity-limited dates are: May 27, 28, and 29; July 1, 2, 3, and 4; and September 2, 3, and 4

All youth group and volunteer-led association events require approval. Send an email to commonarea@joamh.org to get approval. Submit the rental form to reserve your date.

The Gazebo is closed for repair, but in the meantime we will still accept rentals for the benefit of bringing extra guests.
There are signs on the 2 tables nearest the Gazebo that they are reserved for gazebo rentals during rental periods. Each table has an umbrella.

The gazebo is available for rent on a first-come, first-served basis during pool hours. Renters have exclusive access to the gazebo for up to 4 hours per rental.
Important: you must clean up fully during your alloted rental time and depart promptly before your reservation is over.
