About Jackson Oaks Association

Jackson Oaks is a common interest development located in Morgan Hill, California established in 1969 and governed by the Jackson Oaks Association, or "JOA" for short, and sometimes referred to as the "Jackson Oaks Homeowners Association" or "Jackson Oaks HOA."  There are similarly-named developments and associations around the country, none related to Jackson Oaks Association of Morgan Hill.

Living in Jackson Oaks offers residents many benefits: the attractive appearance of our homes, harmonious relations between neighbors, and stable or increasing property values are all important qualities we strive for in our vibrant community of all ages and tenures.

Our Declaration of Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions  (CC&Rs) governs acceptable property uses and architectural standards in our neighborhood.

Homeowners have access to JOA's private recreation center, with its pool, clubhouse, and playground. During the pool season, all homeowners have access to the pool and barbecue area, and our playground is open year-round, so when small children need to get outside, you don’t have to travel far. The pool area and playground are included in annual dues, and JOA homeowners may also on a first come, first served basis rent our clubhouse facility or outdoor gazebo in the pool area for a fee.

Check back on this website, AppFolio or subscribe to our calendar to stay abreast of many fun social events welcoming all homeowners at little to no cost. Past events include bingo, movie nights, visits from Santa, and Halloween decorating and Christmas lighting contests, and volunteers in our community provide free events such as weekly social gatherings and yoga at our clubhouse, and (during the pool season) water aerobics. All volunteer-led and free!

Attend one of our Board meetings to observe or participate with other homeowners.

JOA is a National Fire Prevention Association (NFPA) certified Firewise site, and our Firewise committee leads activities throughout the year such as wildfire prevention and preparedness seminars, planting a demonstration garden at our recreation center, and community cleanups to reduce combustibles and beautify the Tom Berghoff median on East Dunne Avenue running through our neighborhood.
